While volunteers have helped sustain the off-leash area of Edmonds
for a number of years, if it were not for the precedence set by two
local non-profit groups known as Serve our Dog Areas (SODA) and
Citizens for Off-Leash Areas (COLA), OLAE would never have formed.
The COLA website is helpful for anyone taking their dog(s) into any of
the Seattle parks or off-leash areas. It also provides a myriad of
information regarding pet safety, animal shelters, and places outside
of Washington that are OLAs.
